When planning a move, let's face it, moving boxes are

store in town to reserve boxes and then running from one
end of town to the other to pick them up can be a bit of

are worth the money in the long run. Most damage occurs
from vibration. No matter how well you have padded the
sides of the box, a firm up and down jolt can cause an
entire stack of dishes that are not packed properly to
crack. On the other hand, that same stack of dishes
packed properly on edge and surrounded by bubble wrap
have a much better chance of making the move undamaged.
